Fairy Garden Trail

The Winners are...

Registration is over until 2025

Please check back in February of 2025 to register for our next round of Fairy Garden Permits.

March - April 2025

There is so much to explore in Davey Dogwood Park this spring! We know that the 5.5 miles of driving trails make for some amazing views but park the car and step onto the trails and see how many of our hidden fairy gardens you can find! Open daily in Davey Dogwood Park from dawn to dusk.

Follow the signs to the pavilion in the heart of the park and the Fairy Garden Trail will be North East of the pavilion and restrooms. This year the ADA trail is now paved and is accessible for all. The hiking portion of the trail is an unpaved dirt path with a gradual incline and decline making a loop back to the entrance of the trail. The hiking portion of the trail will be accessible for scooters and strollers.

Community Rock Snake

We have a Rock Snake on the Fairy Garden Trail and would love to have you add to his tail helping him grow! Painted rocks, polished rocks, inspiration rocks, even cool park rocks are perfect for your community snake.

Please do not take rocks with you, but leave rocks so that he can grow and everyone can share in our artistic project.
