Curious will have its Grand Reopening on Sat., Nov. 19, with a soft opening on Sat., Nov. 12. The Grand Reopening will feature refreshments and fun activities, in addition to a prize for each child who attends. There will be an official Chamber of Commerce Grand Opening ribbon-cutting at 11 am.
The Curious museum is reopening to the public. It will be open every Saturday from 10 am – 3 pm, including Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
Of special interest at Curious is its new train exhibit, where visitors’ riding on bikes generate energy that powers the model train to move. Other new exhibits will be installed soon.
The museum has been closed on Saturdays due to the pandemic. However, during that period Curious maintained its presence through camps and birthday parties, in addition to on-site and mobile field trips, all with self-contained groups.
