Dogwood Celebration March 20 - April 5, 2026

A lot can happen over a cup of coffee, and in 1938, the Texas Dogwood Trails were born from a casual conversation about the unique landscape and beauty of the blooms in the region. This beloved tradition has been going strong for over 80 years, drawing thousands of visitors to soak in the stunning dogwood blooms and join in the fun festivities.

In 2023, Palestine, TX, proudly became the official Dogwood Trails Capital of Texas. This long-time celebration takes place during the last two weekends in March and the first weekend in April. Enjoy the delicate beauty of the dogwood trees in Davey Dogwood Park and the surrounding area. There's a variety of activities scheduled each weekend to make the celebration even more special.

Additional Information about the lineup of events for 2026 is coming soon.
