Explore Mars – and More - at Curious Summer Camps! Note: These camps will be held in person. Curious’ top priority is to provide a safe and healthy environment for our campers as they experience fun, hands-on, and creative activities. NASA’s newest rover, Perseverance, landed on Mars in Feb., 2021.
It’s helicopter, Ingenuity, has had exciting test flights in April, 2021.Inspired by the landing of Perseverance and Ingenuity on Mars in February, 2021, this year’s Curious camps will focus on more exciting aspects of Mars – and lots more.
- The camper fee, which continues to be reduced, is only $45 per camper.
- For each camp to “make”, it must have a minimum of 8 campers. Each camp will have a maximum of 15 campers.
- To secure your camper’s place, please register with your full camper fee by June 1, 2021.
Taught by inspiring and experienced educators, here is a listing of the camps, ages, and the exciting topics campers will explore. Camps will be held from 9 am – 12 noon.
- June 14 – 18. Entering grades 3 – 6. Mars Tinkering 2. To prepare for humans landing on Mars, learn more about what Mars is like, especially its water resources that humans could use. Then, experiment with different forms of motion and resources on Mars to help invent things that solve important problems for humans on Mars.
