Palestine, Texas, is a great place to meet - whether for a small retreat, a large convention, a reunion, a regional meeting or any type of event you may be planning.

In addition to Palestine's beautiful natural setting among the Dogwoods, PInes and Magnolias, its historical sites, and great shopping in Old Town and Downtown areas, your goup will be treated to Southern hospitality while enjoying excellent meeting facilities. (See Attractions Listing)

Foremost among the meeting sites is the Palestine Civic Center, with a large meeting room accommodating up to 500, and an auditorium with seating for 1,400.  Carnegie Library offers a smaller area with historic flair.  Other facilities are available, as well, with historic bed and breakfast establishments and a variety of motels available to ensure a comfortable getaway. (See Accommodations Listing).

Of course, food is an important part of any meeting, and Palestine offers an excellent and varied selection, including international cuisine of Chef Simon Webster and wife, Beki, owners/operators of Sabor a Pasion.  Add Eilenberger Bakery, more than 100 years old, plus additional great restaurants, and your group will be anxious to come back for more. (See Restaurants List).
